Bookly is operated by Abdulrahman Alezzi.
A. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using Bookly, you agree to these Terms and Conditions, the Privacy Policy, and the Refund Policy. If you do not agree, do not access or use the service.
B. Eligibility
- You must have the legal capacity to enter a binding agreement
- Purchasers must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority in their jurisdiction
- Anyone below the applicable age of majority may only use Bookly with permission and supervision from a parent or legal guardian
C. Description of the Service
Bookly provides AI-assisted tools for:
- Writing and editing manuscripts
- Generating cover artwork
- Organizing books and chapters
- Exporting files for publishing workflows
Features may change or evolve over time.
D. Google Authentication
- Bookly uses Google authentication to create and access accounts
- You are responsible for protecting your Google account credentials
- You must not share or misuse account access
- Report any suspected account compromise to support@bookly.live
E. Subscriptions and Billing
- Bookly offers monthly and annual subscriptions
- Subscriptions automatically renew until canceled
- Paddle acts as Merchant of Record for Bookly
- Paddle processes payments, taxes, receipts, recurring charges, payment information, and eligible refunds
- Paddle’s Buyer Terms also apply to purchases
- Prices and renewal information are displayed before purchase
- You authorize recurring charges when purchasing a subscription
- Failed payments may restrict access to paid features
- Prices may change with notice where required by law

F. Cancellation
- You may cancel your subscription at any time
- Cancellation stops future renewals
- Access normally continues through the end of the current paid period
- Cancellation does not automatically create a refund
- You may cancel through your Bookly billing settings or Paddle buyer support where available
- Cancellation does not automatically delete manuscripts or account data
G. Plan Upgrades
- Eligible users may upgrade to a higher plan
- Paddle calculates proration and unused-plan credit
- The amount due is displayed before confirmation
- Usage already consumed on the current period remains consumed
- New plan limits apply after the upgrade is processed
H. Extra Sets
- Extra Sets are available only to active Studio subscribers
- Each Extra Set is a separate one-time purchase
- Extra Sets do not renew
- Each Extra Set remains active for 30 days from purchase
- Unused allowance from an Extra Set expires at the end of the 30 day period
- Unused allowance has no cash value
- An Extra Set does not extend the base subscription period
I. Usage Allowances
- AI words, chapter rewrites, precision edits, and cover generations are usage allowances
- They are not currency, stored value, property, or redeemable credits
- Bookly may measure output to calculate usage
- Verified failed generation requests should not consume usage where technically possible
- Bookly may correct usage records affected by errors, fraud, or misuse
- Attempting to circumvent limits is prohibited
J. AI-Generated Content
- AI outputs may contain errors, omissions, inconsistencies, or unexpected material
- You are responsible for reviewing, editing, fact-checking, and proofreading content before use
- Bookly does not guarantee originality, accuracy, quality, legality, non-infringement, or suitability of AI output
- AI output is not professional legal, medical, financial, or other advice
- You are responsible for material you publish, distribute, or sell
- You must follow publishing-platform rules concerning AI-generated content
K. User Content
- You retain any rights you legally possess in prompts, manuscripts, uploads, titles, and cover material you provide
- You grant Bookly a limited license to store, process, transmit, and transform your content only as needed to provide the service to you
- You must have the right to upload and process the content you submit
- You must not infringe copyright, trademark, privacy, publicity, or other rights
L. Acceptable Use
You may not use Bookly for:
- Illegal activity
- Intellectual-property infringement
- Fraud or deception
- Distribution of malware
- Unauthorized access to systems or accounts
- Attempts to bypass billing or usage limits
- Harassment or threats
- Exploitation or abuse of any person
- Illegal sexual content
- Sexual content involving minors
- Terrorism or violent extremism
- Deceptive impersonation
- Spam or bulk unsolicited material
- Manipulated reviews
- Unauthorized account resale
- Unauthorized automated access to the service
Bookly may suspend or terminate accounts for violations.
M. Publishing and KDP
- Bookly provides preparation and export tools for book publishing workflows
- Bookly is independent from Amazon and Kindle Direct Publishing
- Bookly does not guarantee file acceptance or publication
- You must inspect EPUB, DOCX, PDF, and cover files before submission
- Print-cover requirements depend on page count, trim size, paper, and bleed
- You are responsible for metadata, categories, pricing, disclosures, taxes, copyright, and publication decisions
N. Service Availability
- The service may experience maintenance, outages, third-party failures, or changes
- Continuous availability is not guaranteed
- You should keep independent backups and downloaded exports of important work
O. Bookly Intellectual Property
- The Bookly software, application, interface, branding, and original platform materials belong to the operator or its licensors
- You receive a limited right to use the service under these Terms
- You may not copy, reverse engineer, resell, sublicense, or exploit the platform except where law permits
P. Third-Party Services
Bookly relies on the following third-party services:
- Google for user authentication
- OpenAI for AI generation
- Paddle for billing and payments
- Lovable Cloud and underlying infrastructure for hosting, data, authentication, and storage
These third-party services have their own terms and privacy practices.
Q. Account Suspension and Termination
Bookly may suspend or terminate access for reasons including:
- Nonpayment
- Fraud
- Abuse
- Security threats
- Legal obligations
- Serious or repeated violations of these Terms
R. Disclaimers
To the extent permitted by law, Bookly is provided on an "as available" basis. Bookly does not promise guaranteed publication, guaranteed earnings, guaranteed originality, guaranteed uptime, or error-free AI results.
S. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Bookly and its operator will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, data, or goodwill arising out of or relating to your use of the service. Nothing in these Terms attempts to waive rights that cannot legally be waived.
T. Indemnity
To the extent permitted by law, you may be responsible for claims caused by unlawful content, infringement, publication, misuse, or violation of these Terms.
U. Changes to the Terms
Material changes may be communicated through Bookly or by email and the effective date above may be updated. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
V. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Lebanon, without limiting mandatory consumer rights that apply in the user’s country.
