D. Legal Bases

E. AI Processing

  • Prompts, manuscript excerpts, chapter content, summaries, and editing instructions may be sent to OpenAI
  • Only content reasonably necessary for the requested function should be sent
  • You should avoid submitting highly sensitive personal information
  • AI processing is subject to applicable agreements and provider policies

F. Payment Processing

  • Paddle acts as Merchant of Record
  • Paddle processes payments, taxes, fraud checks, receipts, refunds, and subscriptions
  • Paddle’s own privacy policy applies to payment processing
  • Bookly does not receive or store full payment-card numbers

  • Account and book content may be retained while the account is active
  • Billing records may be retained where legally required
  • Security logs may be retained for reasonable periods
  • Deleted data may remain temporarily in backups
  • Paddle retains transaction records under its own obligations
  • Retention varies according to legal, security, and operational requirements

We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards. No online service can guarantee perfect security.

M. Account Deletion

Account-deletion requests may be sent to support@bookly.live. Bookly will verify the request. Paddle transaction records and other legally required billing records cannot always be deleted on request.

O. Children’s Privacy

  • Bookly is not directed to children under 13
